Thank God for them all

On Christmas Day in 2014, Tauranga Hospital called to say that my daughter was very sick and needed to be flown to Waikato Hospital to stop a bleed that was in her brain. My son-in-law and I were so worried, her six year old son knew exactly what was going to be happening on his Christmas Day. We drove over to the hospital to find her alive, but attached to all sort of things. The hospital staff were great and we can't thank them enough. The helicopter team were amazing and did everything they could to get her there. Without them and the surgeons, Lord knows what would have happened! I know it's an old saying, but you just never know when you are going to need the services of these guys. They gave their Christmas Day up to save my daughter's life - you can't put a price on that, can you.

My daughter is now home after a lot of hospital care from great nurses, doctors and the MRI people. She can't remember much, but I keep telling her how lucky she was that day and how grateful we all are for the men who came to her rescue. If you can spare any donation towards this worthy cause, then I urge you to just do it. I hope that this service goes on to help more people. Without your support and mine, who knows what will happen. God bless everyone who took part in my daughter's recovery.

Many blessings,

Elsie Mawdsley and the Needler family.
